Nick is the Partner responsible for the firm’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications team. Nick has worked for Al Tamimi & Company for eight years, initially in intellectual property, but for the majority of his time with the firm in technology, media and telecommunications. His practice area is largely focused on technology-related legal
advisory and transactional work, including procurement, software licensing, consultancy services and outsourcing. Data protection, privacy and security related issues also make up a considerable portion of Nick’s work, particularly in the context of cloud computing, telematics, tracking for retail analytic purposes, marketing and corporate/employment investigations. Nick is the author for the UAE chapter of Data Protection & Privacy, 3rd Edition (the Sweet & Maxwell International Series).
