With over 25 years of experience in the Life Sciences Industry, Nick Mitropoulos brings a strong portfolio of skills and experience to his role as Vice President, Operations for PerkinElmer Informatics.
Mr. Mitropoulos initially joined PerkinElmer Informatics in the role of Senior Director, Sales Operations in 2012 after serving from 2009 - 2012
as the Chief Commercial Officer at Carestream Molecular Imaging where he was instrumental in driving over 20% growth per year.
From 2007 - 2009 he was VP of the Americas Automation Business Unit at Caliper Life Sciences where he held responsibility for Sales, Marketing, Application Scientists, and Support.
Prior to that Mr. Mitropoulos spent 17 years with Accelrys, Inc. in a variety of roles culminating in VP Global Sales. During that time he played a key role in growing the business from $1 Million to $96 Million annual sales.
Mr. Mitropoulos has a BS and an MBA-Finance and Marketing from Babson College.
