Ndeda Letson joined Charter One as Vice President of Community Development Market Management in Ohio in 2011. A recognized leader and experienced community development practitioner, she is responsible for developing and strengthening the bank’s strategic community development initiatives, including lending, service and community investments related
to the bank’s Community Reinvestment program.
To Charter One, Ms. Letson brings a successful 10-year track record in community investment and revitalization while working in the private, public and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining Charter One, Ms. Letson led and supported urban real estate development initiatives, owned and managed a small consulting practice that provided technical assistance to community organizations, and served as a management consultant for a global, Fortune 500 firm.
Most recently, Ms. Letson was the Assistant Director of Real Estate Development for University Circle Inc. and Vice President of Development for University Circle New Markets, Inc. During her six-year tenure, she secured and managed nearly $25 million in public/private financing and operating revenues to support neighborhood reinvestment initiatives.
Her professional and community involvement has been extensive. Current affiliations include the Commercial Real Estate Women of Cleveland, The Cleveland Foundation’s African American Philanthropy Committee, Cleveland Housing Network, University Circle New Markets Advisory Board, Community Building Partnership of Stark County, Toledo Local Initiative Support Corporation and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
