Nate Mueller brings over a decade of experience in engineering management, distributed computing, and network operations to Nearbuy. Before founding Nearbuy, he ran Aruba Networks' AirWave software development group, one of the longest-running agile development teams in the software industry. He joined AirWave Wireless in 2006, prior to the
company’s acquisition by Aruba, and more than doubled the size of the team before guiding it through the integration into Aruba. Nate came to AirWave from the University of Wisconsin Condor Project, a world-renowned distributed computing research team, where he helped build scientific computing grids for CERN, Fermi, and Argonne National Laboratories and their collaborators. He earlier worked as a systems administrator and web developer for the University of Wisconsin Computer Sciences department and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Namibia. Nate holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
