Nancy Pope Nelson brings more than 30 years of experience as a senior executive in the information technology, healthcare, and financial services industries to her seat on Strata Decision Technology’s Board of Directors.
Ms. Nelson previously served as Chief Executive Officer of two private equity backed companies: Solucient, a leader in
creating information products for comparative performance measurement for hospitals (sold to Thomson Reuters in 2006) and Focused Health Solutions, a population health and disease management company (now part of Trustmark).
Prior to her CEO roles, Ms. Nelson served as Chief Operating Officer with Micro General Corporation, a software and services company in the financial services and real estate market (acquired by Fidelity National Information Solutions in 2002).
She also held the COO position at Quadramed and Compucare (acquired by Quadramed), among the leading healthcare software and services vendors to hospitals. Ms. Nelson also served as Practice Director in First Consulting Group’s healthcare management consulting practice.
Ms. Nelson holds a Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and has completed extensive graduate coursework in mathematics and computer sciences at California State University Long Beach. She is licensed by the State of California as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and also holds national accreditation with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
