Nadia Mahmud is the Registered Dietitian and Genomic Specialist at Genomic Led Nutrition, Business Manager at FORWARD Platform, and Co-Founder and Board Chair of Jolkona.
Nadia has a BA in Business/Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles; a Master's in Public Health and Nutrition from the University of Washington.
Formerly she served in the non-profit sector in Los Angeles. As the CEO of Jolkona Nadia has led several cause marketing partnerships with businesses to help engage more youth in giving and has visited over 10 countries to understand diversity of social issues and effective development techniques.
She is an advisor at Food N' Me and Whole Kids Adventure, and a member of the Millennial Advisory Board of iOnPoverty. She is a regular public speaker, including for organizations including Global Washington, Fulbright Scholars, the Guiding Lights Network, the Millennium Campus Network, and the World Affairs Council Young Professional Group.
Nadia has been featured in the Seattle Times, Marie Claire Magazine, NPR, among others. She is a Cordes Fellow (2011) and a recipient of the Award in Social Venture Partners Social Innovation Fast Pitch, Social Endeavor.
