Murray Mazer is an advisor and mentor for their portfolio of travel startups. Mazer is Head of Innovation at travel technology leader Amadeus. He is responsible for defining and implementing the company’s framework for innovation, through which Amadeus continues to develop and deliver creative, future-leaning, value-added technology solutions for
the travel industry. Mazer has worked in the software industry for over 20 years, spanning numerous technologies, markets, and companies. He has held a variety of senior technical and strategy posts, working in companies small and large. He co-founded Lumigent Technologies, which delivered category-creating enterprise database security software used by six of the world’s top 10 banks and other large companies. At Endeca, Mazer served as VP of Software Engineering and Distributed Development, and after Endeca’s acquisition by Oracle Corporation, Mazer served as founding site director for Oracle’s BI R&D centre in Shanghai, China. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, Canada.
