Dr. Firestone is a seasoned serial entrepreneur and has over 30 years experience as both a healthcare provider and senior executive, having successfully spawned and managed a wide range of companies from high-growth potential, start-up ventures to private and public companies, domestically and internationally. He was Chief Executive Officer at the U.S. and Singaporean holding companies for Physical Logic AG. Dr. Firestone participated in crafting the capital strategy and managing investor relations through approximately $20 million in staged financing and strategic investments. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of BL Healthcare, Inc., deploying remote care-management solutions introducing the first-ever convergence of interactive video, voice and data over television.

Dr. Firestone sourced BLH’s initial funding and its first commercial partner. He served as Executive officer of Standard Management Corp. Dr. Firestone also served as Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Health Services Corporation since 2003. He serves as the President at Restore Health Pharmacy, LLC; and Executive Vice-President of Operations and National Professional Director of MHM Services Inc. Dr. Firestone served as Managing Director of Health Ventures, LLC from 2002 to 2003; President, Corporate Business Development of Med Diversified, Inc. and e-MedSoft.com from 2000 to 2002. He partnered with key healthcare influencers such as Wellpoint/Blue Cross to deploy its award-winning telemedicine network. Dr. Firestone orchestrated the approximately $23 million sale of VirTx, just 13 months after inception, to eMedsoft.com. He then became the President of Corporate Development of the new company. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of VirTx, Inc., from 1999 to 2000, a telemedicine company which merged with e-MedSoft.com Senior Consultant to WellPoint Health Networks, Inc./Blue Cross of California, ImageView, Inc. and The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society from 1998 to 1999. Dr. Firestone serves as Director and chairs the Budget and Allocations process for the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis. He is a sought-after lecturer to healthcare and life science organizations, he was the recipient of the M. Curtis Langhorn award for Outstanding Research in Psychology. Dr. Firestone received Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Emory University; holds a Master’s and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in NeuroPsychology; and graduated, magna cum laude, from Emory University.
