Muhammad Simjee is the Founder and Managing Director of IT Company, A2D24. A2D24 was founded in July 2015 and currently has a full time staff compliment of 18. Muhammad holds a Masters Degree in Technology Management from the University of Pretoria, which he completed with a distinction. His undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering was
obtained at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal in 2016, where he was placed in the top 3 for his final year project and received the Deans commendation. His curiosity of everything tech related led him to the discovery of the Raspberry Pi, a credit card sized low cost computer. Whilst still employed, he spent his free time tinkering with the gadget he developed a dashboard to monitor hospital bed availability. This led to his discovery of the gap in the South African IT market for low cost innovative tech solutions which can be readily available and rolled out at a fraction of the cost of the usual operating models of big co-operations. Muhammad is a member of EO and was recently awarded Govtech's Youth in ICT award for 2017.
