Moritz’s career in entrepreneurship started as part of the founding team of Kind Consumer, a London-based medical device company. After licensing the technology to a FTSE 100 company, he worked with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Toronto and Berlin, with a focus on Operations. Volunteering as a mentor with the Paddington Development Trust in
London and program coordinator with the Social Impact Lab in Berlin, Moritz gathered significant experience in social entrepreneurship and alternative business models. He is a co-founder of a Canadian online homeware retailer and launched Excelsa Ventures in 2016. Studying in Berlin, Texas and Cambridge, he holds an MSc in Biochemistry and an MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise.
