Monzer Mostafa Taleb, originally from Kuwait, has long been a proud US citizen, cherishing his Syrian roots. Since moving to Dallas in 1980, he has transitioned from a successful career as a telecommunications engineer and computer programmer to a dedicated retiree focused on his family and community.

A recognized leader and motivational speaker

within his community, Monzer Taleb serves on multiple school and mosque boards and contributes to various nonprofits. He is particularly noted for his mentorship, addressing youth development, marriage, and adult life.

Monzer completed his academic journey at the University of North Texas, earning a Bachelor of Computer Science in Computer Programming in 1988. His professional record is marked by substantial achievements in the telecommunications sector, especially noted during his time at Ericsson/T-Mobile, where he led significant network development projects and managed high-performing teams.

He began his career in 1992 as a system manager for a local firm, a position he held until 1996. Following that, he became a lead switch test engineer at Ericsson Inc., responsible for testing and troubleshooting MSC hardware and software until 2002. In 2003, he launched a computer and networking company in Dallas, quickly establishing a solid client base by providing custom tech solutions.

2005, Monzer returned to corporate life as an O&M switch supervisor with T-Mobile in Las Vegas, focusing on operational efficiencies and system performance. He later moved back to Ericsson in 2007 at their Plano, Texas, office, where he was tasked with maintaining communications equipment for maritime and remote operations.

Aside from his technical career, Monzer has earned numerous accolades as a motivational speaker. His significant involvement with Baitulmaal, Inc., a nonprofit organization in Irving, Texas, underscores his commitment to philanthropic efforts, enhancing the organization's ability to deliver humanitarian aid globally.

On a personal level, Monzer has been married to Bassiima Dandan for over 40 years and enjoys a fulfilling family life with four children and several grandchildren. His profound faith motivates his extensive volunteer work, including founding a youth center and active participation in community initiatives.
