Monica Byrd joined Octapharma Plasma Inc. in 2010 with more than 20 years experience in quality management and laboratory operations for the blood and plasma industries. In her role, Monica is responsible for the development, continuous improvement, consistency and sustainability of quality control processes throughout the organization to ensure
that Octapharma Plasma meets applicable customer, state, federal and international regulatory requirements.
Prior to joining Octapharma Plasma, Monica was senior quality director for International BioResources, where she had oversight of the field quality assurance program to ensure compliance with FDA and European Commission requirements for Source Plasma. Monica holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Emory University and a MBA from University of Phoenix.
