Mohammad Abidi is the Director of Engineering at Baton Systems (formerly Ubixi), where he heads up the design, architecture, and development of the platform. With over 20 years of experience as a technologist, Mohammad has a proven track record of innovating and succeeding at such companies as Yahoo where he was the Senior Technical Program
Manager, working on the Mobile Search Innovation Team. Prior to Yahoo, Mohammad was the Director of Engineering at CompassLabs and led the e-commerce efforts at AIAG, an automotive standards organization. During his tenure at AIAG, Mohammad was an active participant in several standards organizations such as WS-I, OASIS, UN/CEFACT and OAGI, helping to define electronic exchange messages for the automotive industry. He has also held engineering positions at enterprise software companies such as Oracle, Sybase and Peoplesoft. Mohammad has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He resides in Fremont, California, with his wife and 2 children.
