Mohamed Azrin joined the Malaysian Green Technology Corporation (GreenTech Malaysia) in July 2013,bringing with him over 17 years’ experience in various fields including research and development, project management and implementation of high priority projects across a broad range of technology areas.
Azrin’s previous positions at TNB Research
include Head of Green Technology and the Head of Strategic Planning, which were focused on undertaking research into the fields of electric vehicles (EVs), renewable energy (RE) and the hydrogen economy. He has guided teams in maintenance methodologies such as reliability centred maintenance (RCM), risk-based inspection (RBI) and condition-based maintenance (CBM).
At GreenTech Malaysia he is currently responsible for the application of green technology in buildings, towns, transportation and other urban infrastructures.
Academically, Azrin has earned a Master’s degree in Information Technology for Manufacturing in addition to his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom.
