Mitch Spolan is the Founder and CEO of Payorology, a company dedicated to helping medical practices get fairly reimbursed for the care they provide. After decades at the forefront of tech and business innovation, Mitch left the corporate world in 2024 to tackle one of healthcare’s most overlooked challenges: payor contracts.
He began his career as
an architect but pivoted to the internet in 1998 when he joined Yahoo! during the web’s formative years. Over the next 12+ years, Mitch rose to lead Yahoo!’s U.S. outside sales organization, overseeing billions in advertising revenue. He then joined LivingSocial at the height of the daily deals boom, building their national sales team from the ground up, before moving into the EdTech space as EVP of Partnerships at Chegg, where he spent over a decade forming strategic relationships that helped shape the future of education.
With nearly 30 years of experience in high-growth industries and a deep passion for solving complex problems, Mitch is now focused on bringing transparency, fairness, and data-driven strategy to medical reimbursement.
