Miles Kramer joined Aligned TeleHealth in 2018 to lead national business development initiates in acute care and correctional health services. Previously, Miles spent nearly 8 years with Horizon Health, the nation’s leading psychiatric services contract manager holding vice president positions in operations and business development.
Prior to
joining Horizon, Miles served for a year as the Chief Operating Officer of Traditions Behavioral Health, a Northern California Psychiatric Medical Group developing and enhancing business processes, managing contracted physician practices, coordinating physician credentialing, recruitment, retention and performance improvement in addition to business development.
From 2003 to 2009, Miles served as the first designated Health Services Administrator for Contra Costa County’s Detention Health Services overseeing daily operations and system wide improvement initiatives in unit-dose medication automation/administration/delivery, electronic health record evaluation, integration and implementation, development of health services processes for a newly constructed juvenile facility, expansion of in-facility inmate services including renal dialysis, comprehensive pain management, and increased access to mental health, women’s health and infectious disease management services.
In addition to oversight for Detention Health, Miles also served as the Mental Health Program Chief for Contra Costa Health Services Acute Inpatient Psychiatric and Psychiatric Emergency Services, leading the service through a time of intense regulatory scrutiny and reorganization.
Miles holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fresno State University and holds clinical licensure as an LCSW in California and Colorado in addition to certification from the NCCHC as a Certified Correctional Health Professional.
