Mike is a graduate in civil engineering from Loughborough University of Technology (LUT) and is a founder member of AiC. After obtaining his first degree in 1981, Mike spent three years at LUT, researching the use of computers in the design of reinforced concrete, with reference to use of codes of practice and the international nature of civil
engineering.Following this, Mike was employed on a joint project between LUT and the Severn Trent Water Authority, to produce software for the computerised analysis of the hydraulic flow through waste water treatment works.After leaving this post in 1986, he joined John and formed AiC as a programmer and has authored three major projects, namely ProSURVEYOR, 4CE and n4ce.
