Michelle is a veterinarian who has been working on the Avian Influenza Sediment Study with the British Columbia Ministry of Agriculture since January 2015.
She obtained a BSc in Ecology from the University of Calgary in 2005 and her DVM from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan in 2011. She is currently a
graduate student at the School of Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia, where she has an interest in epidemiology, disease surveillance and One Health.
