Michael Wheeler is the Executive Vice President of Global IP Network at NTT America, , a subsidiary of NTT Communications. Michael is responsible for all financial, engineering, operational and customer relationship activities for the Global IP Network (GIN) business unit. Prior to his current role, Michael led the GIN sales and business
development organization, including direct sales, account management, indirect channel sales, sales engineering, marketing, product management and business development activities.
Michael was part of the original start up team with Verio in 1997, where he led several different sales organizations. Michael transitioned to a leadership role at NTT America following the acquisition of Verio by NTT America’s parent company, NTT Communications, in August of 2000.
Michael earned his B.A. degree from Northwest University.
