Michael Wainstein founded Private Capital Group (PCG) in 2001. Focusing on emerging growth companies PCG has invested in and has interests in a wide variety of companies from new media ventures to staffing and energy. Michael has been investing in and completing reverse mergers since 1997.
Michael has also made direct investments and assisted
in either founding or turning around number of businesses such as Petcarerx.com a leading online pet pharmaceutical company, Priority Staffing Solutions, a nationwide provider of light industrial personnel. Most recently Michael has co-founded Enterconnect, Inc. which is defining the future of the enterprise portal. Its premier intranet/extranet portal product EnterConnect is the first of its kind to be available through a software as a service (SAAS) model which makes deploying a robust, out-of-the-box portal solutions easier and more economical than ever before.
Making a real investment in alternative fuels Michael has also recently co-founded Hampton BioFuels, Inc. which aims through a capacity of eighty million gallons per year to be the largest Biodiesel refinery in New York State.
Michael is a graduate of New York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a graduate of New York Law School. He is admitted to the New York Bar.
