Michael Locatis is CEO of 915 Labs, a leader in natural food processing and packaging and the exclusive licensee of microwave assisted thermal sterilization (MATS™), a disruptive technology that vastly improves the quality, taste, texture and nutritional value of packaged foods. The patented and FDA-approved MATS process enables food manufacturers
to produce high quality, natural and additive-free packaged foods to meet a variety of market needs in the United States and around the world.
Prior to co-founding 915 Labs, Locatis served the Obama Administration in two successive national security leadership roles, and helped the White House craft national policy to secure 16 critical infrastructure sectors including food and agriculture.
Previously Locatis spent his time in the private sector and has extensive experience in development and growth stage companies. His experience includes leading rapid growth, venture capital and strategic funding, M&A and a successful IPO. Locatis also serves as a senior advisor to The Chertoff Group and on the non-profit boards of the Colorado Technology Association and Hunger Free.
