Michael Struttmann is based out of Carlsbad, California and is the Chief Executive Officer and President of SIMS Software. Michael previously worked at Powa Technologies as a Senior Vice President and General Manager, North America.
Michael Struttmann is a payments industry veteran with extensive experience in bringing early stage payment
technologies to market. Michael is responsible for driving North American Sales where he and his team are focused upon delivering world class payments technology infrastructure to Merchant Acquirers, Processors, ISO’s, Hardware and Software VAR’s as well as Mobile Network Operators.
Prior to PowaPOS, he was an Enterprise Accounts District Manager at RSA, The Security Division of EMC, and also served as global head of Sales at Semtek which was acquired by VeriFone Systems, Inc. in 2010. The VeriFone/Semtek encryption solution is now marketed extensively in the United States and has become the de facto industry standard with 9 of the Top 11 US-based Payment Processors actively selling it into their merchant base.
Michael has also held sales management responsibilities at EWI Prepaid which was acquired by Blackhawk Network (NYSE: SWY), as well as at Bank of America Merchant Services as VP of Sales.
