Michael is a passionate entrepreneur and experienced executive in financial services and the technology sector. With Sparring Capital Partners, he established a group of entrepreneurs and like-minded investors, that back Central European businesses on their growth trajectories with capital and expertise.
He has also been a member of the management
board of In-Vision Technologies, a global technology leader in additive manufacturing, since 2016 and heads their Boston-based US subsidiary as Chief Executive Officer.
Since its inception in 2013, Michael has had the priviledge of serving as the Chairman of the investment committee of AWS Gründerfonds, one of the largest Austrian VC initiatives, overseeing more than 70 venture capital transactions.
Prior to founding Sparring Capital Partners, Michael had been serving as Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Vienna-based private equity firm CUDOS Group for more than 10 years. During this time he was working closely with family offices, institutional investors and business owners across Central Europe.
