In 2013, Michael founded 7Hedge, a London-based FX Brokerage - underpinned by Deutsche Bank clearing and settlement. He later sold the business to a former Hotspot (CBOE Global Markets) executive. In 2015, Michael established DMALINK, offering order execution services, market data, and analytics used by banks, asset managers, and funds globally.
In 2020, Michael co-founded DeFinity Markets, co-owned by DMALINK, an institutional digital asset ECN and DeFi marketplace for foreign exchange, cryptographic assets, and CBDC.
Michael comes from a Financial Services background with senior positions at Gain Capital and The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). His specialty is Regulatory Technology, Market Data, and multi-asset class execution venues.
Michael has a particular affinity for building, operating and distributing electronic trading venues from the ground up.
