Dr. Shindle is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. After completing his degree, he also underwent training in orthopedics and sports medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery. He has presented talks at over 60 events on various topics pertinent to his field, as well as authoring articles in peer-reviewed journals such as the American Journal of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Shindle played hockey extensively throughout his school career, and incurred many injuries as a result, leading to his interest in orthopedic medicine. Having experienced firsthand the importance of having good surgeons and doctors to getting back on the playing field, Michael works hard to provide the highest quality of care possible to the athletes he treats, and to continuously work to advance the field of sports medicine.
