Michael D. Selfridge joined First Republic in 2012. As Chief Banking Officer, he is responsible for Northern California Private Banking, Information Technology, and nationwide Business Banking. Previously, he served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer and also as the Chief Risk Officer. Prior to joining First Republic, Mr. Selfridge was head
of U.S. regional banking at Silicon Valley Bank. Mr. Selfridge held various other senior management positions with Silicon Valley Bank over an 18 year period. Prior to this, he was with HSBC and also Wells Fargo Bank. He serves on the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities of San Francisco.
