Rather than get caught up in the technical terms, Michael wants to provide a resource that can reach many different people of many different backgrounds and answer as many questions about finance as possible. In the meantime, however, he enjoys cultivating each section of this book to perfection, utilizing the lessons he continues to learn each day.
Though much of Michael Ralby’s experience is found in the financial industry, he has worked hard over the course of his career to diversify his experiences and acquire valuable experience to better serve his clients. He considers himself to be a capable entrepreneur, salesman, and money coach. His sales experience aligns with his professional goals and beliefs; connecting with clients, understanding their needs, and working to build relationships are all a part of the sales process. In addition to his professional career, Michael Ralby has a great love for sports, which he shares with both of his sons. Michael has seen fatherhood as a great gift in his life, and is grateful to have always had a loving relationship with his sons. Fatherhood is a valuable part of Michael’s life. He cherishes his sons and has aimed to support and provide for them as best he can. Additionally, Michael Ralby finds that there is a great connection between fatherhood and leadership; to be an effective father, you must be a good leader.
Though his training was in tennis, Michael has been able to watch his sons grow through their athletic training. Both of Michael Ralby’s sons are extremely successful; his eldest graduated from NYU’s Stern School of Business, and his youngest son attends Johns Hopkins. Both of his sons have enjoyed a great athletic career as NCAA players, and Michael has enjoyed supporting and encouraging his sons in all of their pursuits.
When Michael Ralby is not spending time cheering his sons on at their respective sports or working with a new client, he loves any opportunity he has to travel and see new places. One of the most appealing aspects of his new career is the ability to focus more on his hobbies and with his family, and has found this shift to be a very encouraging one.
