Michael Paul is the founder of PACK & SEND Systems Pty Ltd and has been a Director and CEO of the company since its incorporation in February 1993. Under Michael's guidance and leadership the company has developed a national service centre network throughout Australia which was recognised in 2007 as the 'Australian Franchisor of the
Year' by PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Franchise Council of Australia. In 2008, the company expanded its franchise retail Service Centre network to the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
Michael has led the company to evolve and change in a rapidly growing market so that the brand lives up to its business mission of providing 'compete solutions for sending anything, anywhere'. Today, the company offers services through multiple sales channels that include a vast network of convenient Retail Service Centres, Logistics Fulfilment Centres, Call Centre, Online Courier Booking systems and Online Retail Integrations.
In 2009, Michael was elected to the National Board of Directors of the Franchise Council of Australia - the peak body that represents the $144 billion franchise sector in Australia. In 2012 Michael was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of the Franchise Council of Australia and remained in that role until December 2014. Michael was reappointed as Chairman of the Franchise Council of Australia from September 2015 to March 2016. He remained a Director of the Franchise Council of Australia up to October 2017.
In October 2018, Michael was inducted into the Australian Franchising Hall of Fame.
