Michael Ohanian has more than 20 years’ experience in barcode data collection, RFID, wireless, mobile computing, supply chain logistics, and automation.
From 1995 to 2000, he was President of Intermec Technologies, where he acquired IBM’s RFID intellectual property and design/development team, as well as three companies during his tenure.
He was also Senior Vice President of Unova, Intermec’s parent company.
Member of the Board of Directors of AIM Global from 1997 to 1999, Michael is today an active member of AIDC 100 and a recognized authority in RFID technology.
He consults for several universities planning RFID courses of study and has written numerous technical papers and patents related to electronic products/systems. Michael is a guest lecturer at MIT, University of Wisconsin and University of Houston.
Michael has a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Merrimack College, and currently serves on their Board of Trustees.
