Michael J. Mazzeo is an entrepreneur, investor, operator, and founder of Eagle Global Holdings whose experience spans investment management, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, strategic planning, business operations, governance, and organizational leadership.
He began his career at Goldman Sachs, where he worked
across the firm's G10 Foreign Exchange, Equity Derivatives, and Electronic & Algorithmic Trading businesses. He later joined Tradeweb, where his work included mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, strategic initiatives, business analysis, and board-level strategy.
Michael subsequently co-founded Elm Equity Partners, a private investment firm focused on technology, financial services, and education, where he led the acquisition and strategic development of a portfolio of cloud software businesses, culminating in a successful exit in 2017.
Following the exit, Michael founded Eagle Global Holdings in 2017 as a family investment office. From 2017 through 2022, he served as Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Chief Investment Officer, directing the firm's investment strategy, capital allocation decisions, and portfolio management activities.
In 2022, DMM Holdings USA Inc. acquired the Eagle Global Holdings brand. Today, Michael serves as Founder of Eagle Global Holdings and Founder and Chairman of DMM Holdings USA Inc., which owns and operates the Eagle Global Holdings platform.
In addition to his leadership of Eagle Global Holdings and DMM Holdings USA Inc., Michael has founded, advised, and led a number of businesses and organizations. His affiliations have included service as Co-Founder & Partner of Elm Equity Partners; Founder of Cloud X Partners; Vice Chairman of LemVega Capital; Chairman of DeepMarket Making Inc.; Founder and Chairman of Chance Academic Advising, Inc.; Board Member of Insynq; Board Member of CloudRunner; Trustee of The Unique New York Family Trust; and Board Member of Nonprofit Mortgage.
Throughout his career, he has served in executive, investment, advisory, fiduciary, governance, and board leadership capacities spanning entrepreneurship, private investment, capital markets, technology, education, nonprofit organizations, and family enterprises.
Michael currently serves on the Duke Alumni Leadership Board and the Duke Alumni Admissions Advisory Council.
