Dr. Marsh is Professor Emeritus in Management Information Systems at the John L. Grove College of Business, Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. His academic credentials include a M.S. in Computer Science (Naval Postgraduate School) and a Doctorate in Decision Sciences (The Ohio State University). Dr. Marsh’s primary academic interests are
Cybersecurity, Computer Programming, and Emerging Information Technology. He holds four security-related certifications including Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP). Dr. Marsh has written and been the project director for several significant technology grants. He is also a retired Navy Commander having served on destroyers and specialized in weapon systems operations and software development. After leaving active faculty status in 2016, he and his wife, Barbara, relocated to Pinehurst, NC where he serves on the Village Planning & Zoning Board and teaches part-time at local universities.
