Michael is an Electronics Engineer and Radio Tradesman, to date he has 29 years’ experience in communications technology, electronics, smart meter infrastructure and operational technology.
Through the advanced metering infrastructure rollout at Jemena, Michael was the strategic technology lead from concept to delivery (2008-2014) and has now
transitioned into commercial operations.
Michael has dedicated 18 years towards the Operational Technology sector initially with a well know Australian RTU manufacturer, then as an independent SCADA Engineer.
In 2001 he joined United Energy as a SCADA administrator and has worked in several real time systems, asset management and communications roles up to the present for Jemena (part of the China State Grid and Singapore Power families).
As Commercial Manager Metering Michael is responsible for the commercial viability of the ongoing regulated metering business and opportunities to leverage and develop value from the AMI solution for Jemena
