Michael Lyons is actively involved with the progress of our portfolio and serves as a board member for Extremity Medical and Simpact Dental. He also sits on the board of the youth
outreach program YouthBuild USA.
Michael Lyons graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1991, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. His business experience includes positions held with Brimfield Precision (1993 – 1994), Principal Instruments (1994 – 1996), and Blackstone Medical (1996 – 2008). Prior to joining Blue Slate, Michael Lyons founded Streetlight Concepts that, like Blue Slate, was focused on providing direction and support for start-up business ventures looking for success in their specific markets.
