Michael brings experience in the areas of financing, capital raising, mergers & acquisitions, and capital markets to Ziften. At Ziften, Michael focuses on financial operations, strategic planning, end-to-end product development, and customer implementation. Prior to co-founding Ziften, Michael practiced law at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher
& Flom specializing in mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and financing primarily in energy related deals for FORTUNE 500 companies and the country’s top private equity and hedge funds. Previously, he also worked at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison on private securities for software and telecom venture-backed startups. Most recently, Michael raised and organized large pools of capital for investments in the areas of real estate and oil & gas. He holds a B.B.A with a double major in Finance and the Business Honors Program (with Highest Honors in both) from the University of Texas, and a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law (with Honors).
