For business clients, he devises capital formation strategies and secures financing. He serves as a principal for several high-growth enterprises.
His expertise in the cannabis industry is grounded in his achievements with Cannabio Inc., CannaEuro Group SGPS, S.A. and KPK & Partners Co., Inc. The latter is a cannabis-focused private equity firm. There, he serves as a partner and board member.
Cannabio Inc. is a leader in the commercial licensing of various cannabis strains. The company is devoted to supplying, engineering and preserving cannabis and hemp genetics worldwide. It has developed the ability to clone, store and verify unique cannabis strains, inventing a business model that generates profit from the plant’s genetics. It is currently creating one of the world’s largest genetic libraries for cannabis. Michael Kraft serves as a partner and board member for the company.
He is also chairman and a partner at CannaEuro Group SGPS, S.A., which is based in Portugal. The company is planning to create a European cannabis genetics and breeding company in partnership with Cannabio Inc. for the European Union market.
At MTI Energy Inc., Michael Kraft serves as a board member. The Edmonton company is located in Alberta’s famed oil patch, and invests in both renewable energy and legacy energy sources.
