Mr. Kampfe has been providing executive consulting services for the past eight years. His assignments have included corporate strategy, executive recruitment, and lean process initiatives. His clients service markets ranging from life-science equipment development to factory automation.
Prior to his consulting career, Mr. Kampfe was Vice
President and General Manager of GSI Group. There he led a $275 million diversified technology business with over 2,000 employees worldwide. His accomplishments included a successful merger of equals with Lumonics Corporation, the development of DNA analysis equipment that was later sold for $120 million to Packard Bioscience, the sale of four non-strategic businesses and the introduction of 20 new products. Mr. Kampfe has also held management positions at Polaroid and Magna Copper.
He holds a BSME from the University of Arizona, completed an Executive Management Program at Stanford University and is a licensed professional engineer.
