Mr. Gately directs Cornerstone’s research team with responsibility for coordinating resources across North America, Europe, and Asia as well as overseeing the firm’s macro- and micro-economic research, market analysis and forecasting, and development of the firm’s global research platform. Mr. Gately has been with Cornerstone since its founding in
1994 and holds a voting seat on the firm’s Investment Committees.
Prior to joining Cornerstone, Mr. Gately managed real estate interests for a privately held manufacturing and retailing concern, served as Executive Director of the University of Hartford Construction Institute and began his career as a consulting economist.
Mr. Gately earned an AB degree in Economics from St. Michael’s College and an MA degree in Economics from the University of Hartford. He is a frequent speaker on real estate market trends and is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers, and the National Association for Business Economics.
