Michael Foley is based in New York City and is the CEO and Co-Founder of Excelsior Sciences. Foley is a scientist, entrepreneur and executive driven by the mission to turn breakthrough science into medicines that change lives. As a seasoned biotech entrepreneur and executive with over 20 years’ experience bridging academia and industry, he has
previously built a pioneering drug discovery model linking world-class research with commercial expertise. Being a Co-founder of multiple successful biotech ventures, Foley has collectively raised billions and advanced numerous clinical programs. He has had academic posts at Harvard, Rockefeller, Weill Cornell, and UNC Chapel Hill and is currently serving on the Governor of New York’s Life Sciences Advisory Board and as a Trustee of St. Norbert College.
