Mr Michael “Mick” Fegan joined Inland Pipe Rehabilitation as Chief Executive Officer in February 2022. Prior to joining IPR, Mick was the Chief Operating Officer for Synagro Technologies, a Baltimore-based biosolids management firm, which helps more than 800 municipal and industrial water and wastewater facilities in North America recycle organic
by-products. While at Synagro, Mick had complete financial responsibility for its $450M business, specifically Health and Safety, Operations, Supply Chain, Fleet and Logistics, Process Engineering, Capital Expenditures, Services Sales, Sales, and Operational Planning, and Human Resources. In December 2020, Mick was part of the deal team that took Synagro through the successful sale to Goldman Sachs.Prior to Synagro, Mick was the Vice-President of Global Operations for GSE Environmental, where he was responsible for seven facilities on three continents. Prior to GSE, as Vice President of European Operations for WireCo World Group, he was responsible for leading more than 1,100 engineering, finance, logistics, procurement, production, and quality colleagues. Additionally, Mick has held various operations and management positions, both nationally and globally, across the energy, environmental, and manufacturing industries throughout his 20+ year career. Mick holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Queen’s University of Belfast, and a master’s degree in Computing and Information Systems from the University of Ulster. Mick is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Master.
