Michael Eber is the Chief Technology Officer at Metroplex Communications, Inc. He was the designer/creator of the PodBreakout and the associated boards and connectors which have been distributed worldwide since 2003. They have been used for such things as jail breaking the original iPhone and more recently the iPhone Kernel exploit presented
at BlackHat 2011. Michael is a General Class Amateur Radio Operator with the call sign KD5QLN and VE credentials, he passed the FCC exam back in 2001. Michael designed tiny GSM/GPS tracking devices for certain groups with 3 letter initials that could get 3D GPS locks indoors and in parking garages. But he doesn't do development for those "kinds" of people anymore... Michael is married and lives in DFW with his Wife and son Haden. Michael is involved in the Dallas Makerspace, his local Hackerspace. He describes it as "It's where I play with all the cool toys and occasionally teach free classes like Amateur Radio test prep and Intro to Arduino."
