Michael David Meek, residing in California, is an established Special Educator and U.S. Army Logistics Officer renowned for his robust leadership across both the educational and military sectors. Holding three graduate degrees in education—specifically in School Administration, Student Learning and Technology, and Special Education—his academic pursuits have significantly shaped a career characterized by substantial community involvement, a strong work ethic, and a demeanor fitting an Army officer. With nearly 35 years of experience in education, leadership, and administration, he has earned accolades, including the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, and Army Commendation Medal. His efforts have also extended to influencing educational legislation and increasing engagement in education from both public and private sectors.

He began his military career at nearly 40 by enlisting in the California Army National Guard. Recognized for his leadership and physical conditioning, he completed rigorous military training, including the Captain's Career Course and Intermediate Level Education, which prepared him for senior command and logistics roles. As a Major, he currently commands the 1114th and 1498th Transportation Companies, managing significant troop management and operational logistics.

On the civilian front, his educational journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management, followed by a Master of Arts in School Administration. He later achieved a Master's in Student Learning and Technology in 2004. These academic credentials have equipped him to lead initiatives on behavior management and inclusivity within educational settings. His specialized studies in Special Education further emphasize his commitment to this essential field.

He has professionally impacted public education, mainly through his work on Behavior Support Programs and integrating technology into learning. His diverse experience and progressive educational approaches have made him a distinguished speaker on educational leadership and team dynamics.

Drawing from his extensive military service and global experiences, he has created a range of motivational presentations tailored to diverse audiences, including educational institutions at all levels, businesses, and organizations. His talks inspire students, parents, and professionals to explore new perspectives and seize emerging opportunities. Additionally, he enjoys coaching cross-country and participating as a speaker at various military events.

A committed runner for over four decades, he has completed 30 marathons and two Ironman competitions, including a notable second-place finish in a 50-mile race in Afghanistan. He also coaches cross-country and is passionate about collecting vintage BMW motorcycles, blending his professional pursuits with personal interests.
