Mike Hanley has nearly 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Prior to joining Aeglea, he served as vice president and U.S. chief commercial officer of Esteve Pharmaceuticals, S.A., where he played a key role in identifying a new corporate strategic vision and leading the establishment of a new U.S affiliate.
Previously, Mike served in various roles of increasing responsibility at Horizon Therapeutics PLC, a global biopharmaceutical company, where he had P&L responsibility for the company’s rare disease portfolio. Prior to Horizon, he served in various commercial leadership roles at the U.S. affiliate of H. Lundbeck A/S, a global pharmaceutical company, where he led the launch and life cycle strategy of a product for a rare and devastating form of epilepsy. Mike holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
