Michael Blend is a serial entrepreneur with two decades of experience in the technology and domain name industries. He currently leads Demand Media's Platform business, which includes the world's second largest domain registrar, eNom.
Prior to Demand, Michael was the founder of Hotkeys, a web technology firm which was acquired by the company in 2006. Hotkeys' staff and infrastructure is now part of the Platform group. Prior to founding Hotkeys, Michael was vice president of corporate development for Aliph, developer of the award-winning Jawbone bluetooth headset. Previously, Michael was vice president of business and corporate development for WeddingChannel.com (Nasdaq: KNOT). Michael's career began as the founder of Darwin Keyboards.
Michael earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Duke University, and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
