Dr. Blackman has extensive experience in health IT product management, as well as outpatient and inpatient care. An early leader in the effort to develop electronic prescribing for controlled substances, he also brings experience in population health management and managing health across the care continuum.

Dr. Blackman will further support the company’s ambulatory care customers, ensuring providers are equipped with the solutions and services they need to improve patient outcomes and succeed in value-based care.

Prior to joining Greenway, Dr. Blackman served as the medical director for population health at Allscripts, where he translated clinical and healthcare business needs for product and development teams and assisted customers with the design and management of population health and value-based care programs. Before that, he served as chief medical officer for McKesson’s Enterprise Information Systems division.
