Michael (Micky) Barnea is the managing partner of Barnea Jaffa Lande. With over 30 years of experience in both corporate and securities law, Micky is recognized as one of Israel’s leading lawyers. His diverse practice encompasses corporate, securities, technology, and cross-border matters.
Micky has played a lead role acting in a wide variety of
corporate transactions, including private placements, initial and secondary public offerings, reverse mergers, tender offers, and hostile takeovers. Recent transactions include representing Azrieli Group in the sale of its holdings in Supergas, Cryolife in a strategic transaction with the Israeli medtech startup Endospan, the private equity group Bridgepoint in its acquisition of control in the Israeli company Qualitest, Danel Group in its various strategic acquisitions, Johnson and Johnson in its various investments in Israeli companies, and Lipsker in its sale to Shapir Group.
Micky holds a law degree from the Tel Aviv University Law School.
