Michael B. Russo, MD is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Sleep Medicine and Neurology and has more than 20 years of experience in both fields.
Dr. Russo graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Geology and Geophysics, from Reserve Officer Training
Corps as Distinguished Military Graduate, and from Chicago Medical School as a Medical Doctor.
He trained in psychiatry at Metropolitan Hospital (New York), in neurology at New York University (Bellevue Medical Center), and in sleep neurophysiology at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. He has also trained at the National Institutes of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (Bethesda, MD) and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (London, UK).
He is also a recipient of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Award for Excellence in Military Medicine. Currently, Dr. Russo operates a sleep medicine practice in Honolulu, Hawaii.
