Michael F. Ahern is the Chief Financial Officer at Norvax Inc. When Michael was named Chief Financial Officer for Norvax in February 2007, he brought more than 20 years of financial management and accounting experience to the company.
Prior to joining Norvax, Ahern oversaw the finance and administrative functions at CT TyMetrix, the market
leader in web-based management solutions for corporate law departments and claims organizations.
Ahern previously was Chief Financial Officer at TriPoint Systems Development Corporation, where he helped negotiate the successful sale of the company.
Ahern also has held finance executive roles at technology startups in Chicago and the San Francisco Bay Area over the past ten years. During his time as controller at Transmeta Corporation, he played a key role in taking the company public in November 2000.
A registered CPA in Illinois, Mr. Ahern holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
