Michael ("Mike") Adler is an experienced senior executive, with diverse experience across finance, operations, M&A, corporate restructurings, and strategic planning for technology/media companies.
His career includes senior executive and board positions with large, complex multi-national and publicly traded companies as well
as a number of early stage companies. He joined SquareTrade, the top-rated protection plan company, as CFO in November 2012.
Prior to joining SquareTrade, Mike spent nearly six years as Executive Vice President and CFO of Expedia (NASDAQ:EXPE), the world's largest online travel company.
Before that, Mike held several roles at IAC (NASDAQ:IACI), a leading Internet company, including SVP of Financial Planning and Analysis, where he oversaw a team that monitored and evaluated the performance of numerous business units.
While at IAC he also served as the CEO and Chairman of the third party e-commerce platform provider, Styleclick, Inc. (NASDAQ: IBUY). Previously, Mike held senior positions at SchoolSports (now known as ESPN Rise) and Cheyenne Software (AMEX:CYE), an enterprise storage software company.
Earlier in his career, Mike practiced corporate law with Feldman, Waldman & Kline in San Francisco.
Mike holds a BS in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
