Maxwell Kahn is the Investment Principal at Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, Maxwell Kahn is an Investment Principal in the Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, LLC. Mr. Kahn brings twenty years of experience in health care and insurance small company investing, business development, and strategy creation and implementation. His experience includes time at the Health Care Strategy & Alliances group at Johnson & Johnson, McKinsey & Co, and AXA Equitable. Prior to his time at J&J, Mr. Kahn worked as a consultant in the health care and insurance practices at McKinsey & Co. and invested in emerging growth health care services and health care information technology companies as an investment banker at the boutique firm of Commonwealth Associates.
Mr. Kahn also spent time as a senior leader in AXA Equitable's variable annuities business where he developed the division’s strategy exiting the financial crisis and managed the launches of two new businesses. Mr. Kahn holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
