Max returned to Guernsey from New York in 2008 and formed the predecessor firm to Clarus Risk. He previously worked for JPMorgan Securities Inc in New York within Proprietary Equities and was responsible for managing a global equities portfolio. Prior to this he had worked at Ziff Brothers Investments in New York and London as a Senior Associate
within the Quantitative Strategy Group. Max has a BSc (Hons) Economics from the University of London and has held the CFA designation since 2001. Since 2009 he has served as Chair of the CFA UK Performance and Risk Measurement Special Interest Group.
